About My Shop:
I am a Nurse Practitioner who began beading 6 years ago upon retirement and have not looked back. The natural world plays a big part in influencing my designs and my passion is using the vast number of colors and textures of seed beads to create wearable art. Most of my designs are original and one-of-a-kind.

Behind the Scenes at the Shop:
I love the creative process. My joy is in finding original ways to work with beads and bead embroidery.
I was very excited to see one of my pieces, the "In the Jungle" necklace, recently included in the fashion section of a Swedish newspaper, along with Jungle themed fashion.
Another necklace which I have named "Melting" has pleated beading sections, a technique I have not seen used before.
I have a "Surf's Up" Cuff bracelet, that I adapted from "Pacific Waves", a beadwoven bracelet included in Rachel Nelson-Smith's book, "Seed Bead Fusion", Interweave Press LLC, 2009.
My favorite bracelet, "African Sunrise" was bead embroidered using a traditional African pattern, updating the colors (fuschia and tangerine) and using picot stitch on the whole except the background.
Tips and Tricks
- I get some of my design inspirations from the Dover Electronic Clip Art book series.
