What I Made
I made a bag (with a personality) using fabric pieces from old clothes and other fabrics. The project is very easy to make but takes time and requires a lot sewing with a sewing machine. It makes people smile when I walk with it on the street, which I consider as an achievement in NYC and that makes me smile also :)
How I Made it
I made this bag using two old shirts and left-overs of some fabric I had. By cutting small pieces of fabric and making patchwork I could combine different shirts and use even really small pieces of fabric that I found.

Tips and Tricks
- It is hard to get rid of old clothes. sometimes we really get attached to them. They remind us different events and people. By making projects from old clothes we can make room in our closet but still keep the memories.
