The Eastport Pirate Festival has quickly become known for all of its family fun and entertainment. The Pirate Parade, Pirates Ball, International Pirate's Ship Race, Pirate Kid Themed Activities and week-end long activities are unrivalled anywhere in New England and The Maritimes. In about 24 hours from now thousands of pirates will arrive on the historic island for the weekend and stay in character for three full days. It is one of the most colorful events and displays of pageantry to be found anywhere on the Eastern Seaboard.
