At The Illinois Renaissance Faire, you can step back in time to the 16th Century and relive history and traditions of long ago. This full scale, live re-enactment experience is like no other. The Faire offers you a chance to visit the days of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I. There will be ribbons and flags waving in the wind, the sound of lutes, the lilt of foreign accents, and the smells of exotic foods cooking. Artisans hawking their wares, jugglers amusing you and the ribaldry of actors performing on various stages. You'll see bold knights competing for the favor of Her Majesty's Court and their lady's affection.

Tell us about it. Ask questions on where to get gowns, how to sew bodices. The forum awaits thee.
