California Renaissance Festivals and Faires

Come enjoy the wonders of the Second Dunsmuir Celtic Renaissance Faire!! (Dunsmuir North) This year, the Faire brings to life the rich authentic pleasures and colorful spectacle of a bunch of peasants. Bursting with the revelry and traditions of the Renaissance, costumed players perform on stage, vendors hawk their wares from stalls filled with fine crafts, and minstrels stroll the grounds against the backdrop of Mt. Shasta. Sample our tasty fare and fine ales! Witness the splendor and pomp of the noble families or pause at the magnificent sight of peasants locked in swordplay. Attend various shows including live music, dancing, and magic peasants!

In Aptos Village park, we've created a small English village complete with marketplace, food and a stage for our entertainers.

There, you will get to meet the horses, goats and other animals that help the Dragon Slayers students in our programs, as well as Queen Elizabeth, some master sword fighters and a couple of witty fools.
