This is my costume as a gate guard at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. The pants had an elastic waistband and fit just -perfect-. We wore breezy white shirts with large sleeves and a tunic of green and yellow.
I was hoping that the 'muffin hat' would offer some sort of protection from the sun, but it probably doesn't work when it's poofed up like the Swedish Chef.
