Definition: Tackle boxes often have large spaces in the bottom that can hold items like your scissors, pincushion, and measuring tape. They also have a mid-sized tray that is perfect for items like tweezers, safety pins, and markers. On top, a tackle box will have lots of places for little things such as buttons, pins or beads. It is the perfect place to keep your organized.
Many craft stores sell cute sewing boxes like these with lots of compartments, but I find the most useful to be the tackle boxes in the fishing section at any department or camping store. This item is one of a few basic DIY fashion tools that you should have on hand.
