Decoupage

Mod Podge is a favorite brand.

Definition: Decoupage is an art medium. In decoupage, paper designs from magazines, comic books, stickers, etc. are applied to a flat surface and given a few coatings of clear lacquer such as Mod Podge. After the lacquer hardens, the paper designs are waterproofed and sealed onto the flat surface for years to come. Decoupage lacquer is fairly inexpensive and can be found in the glue and paint section of most craft stores. Brooches, pendants and earrings are common uses for decoupage. It can also be used to decorate suitcases and lunch boxes.

Decoupage glue is also used in making your own screen printing screens at home.
