Cat Eyes and Lips

Cat Face Painting

Shade the upper lip and eyes.

Rain Blanken
Ask your subject to gently close their eyes. If they are squeezing them too hard, this will not work. You will now use your medium brush and black paint to create cat eyes. Start near the inner corner of the eye and gently sweep outward. Curve up at the outer corner for the signature cat-eye look. Finish each eye by rimming half of the bottom lid as well.

For the kitty lips, draw a straight black line from the bottom of the nose to between the top curves of the lips. Shade only the upper lip in black. If you like, you can leave the lower lip white, or shade it in a different color.

Now to add the kitty nose and some eye color.
