Cat Face Painting

Use white paint to create fur.

Rain Blanken
Use your medium brush and white paint. You can also use any other light color that will go with your kitty's look such as gray, orange, yellow...whatever fits for you.

Make sure your paint is not too runny with a test on the back of your hand. To make hairs, quickly flit the brush in a short stroke, lifting pressure as you stop.

  • Work from the brow bone out to cover the forehead.
  • Make sideways hairs from the corners of the eyes to the temples.
  • Fan out little hairs on the bridge of the nose up to the brow bone.
  • For the cheeks, try short strokes that arch out in the direction of the ears.
  • Start under the lip and make quick strokes toward the chin.
If you don't think it looks quite hairy enough, don't worry. We will be touching up later. For now, move on to create the cat eyes and lips.
