Sew the Hem

Make a Skirt Shorter

Sew around and you're done.

Fold the hem up so that the bottom of the skirt is in line with your chalk mark. Pin the hem. Iron the hem all the way around, removing pins as you go.

Sew the hem of your skirt all the way around. Be sure to use small stitching and a matching thread to prevent your work from showing. This shorter skirt can be a daring look. It's a good idea to tone it down with some patterened tights.

Also, try pairing this skirt up with your own screen printed shirt.
