Turn a shirt into a wrap

Sew the strips onto the bottom of the shirt.

Stitch the button strips to the front of your shirt, creating ties for the wrap. Yes, my cave drawing shows messy stitches. Try to create more uniform stitches when you stitch on your strips.

If your button strips are long enough, you may be able to sew the ends together and stitch them all along the bottom of the shirt instead of just on the front. It all depends on what kind of look you want.

This wrap looks fantastic when it is embellished with fabric flowers, or simple flowing skirt that you can make yourself.
