Make and Sew Applique Patches

Sew the patch along the edges.

Lay your stencil on the piece of scrap fabric. We used a scrap piece from a simple halter top project. Any kind of fabric can be used, but this is a great way to use up scraps. Trace around the your shape using tailors chalk and cut out the patch inside the outline. Using chalk ensures that your scrap fabric isn't stained.

Next, you'll sew on the patch.
