Press the very center of your image onto the center of the ring. Smooth from the center out to all sides. If you had to cut notches in your image, this is when those little flaps will lay on top of each other to conform to the shape of the ring.
Wipe any excess glue from the edges of the ring face. Apply a coat of decoupage over your image and let completely dry. You will need to do this four more times.
If you do not let the glue completely dry between each coat of varnish, then your brush will start to wipe off the print from your image. Do you want that? No. Be patient and wait between coats. I mean it.
After the last coat is dry, you'll be left with a strange new piece of jewelry on your hands. If you need any help while doing this project, drop me a line at the DIY Fashion Message Board and I'll answer any questions you have.
