Decoupage a Ring

decoupage ring

Remake a ring with a few brushstrokes.

I had an old ring that needed to come out of the bottom of my jewelry box, and with a little bit of decoupage varnish, I was able to give it a face lift. Decoupage is cheap and easy, requiring few supplies.

What You'll Need

  • A flat-faced ring that has seen better days. It's okay if the face of the ring is slightly rounded.
  • Decoupage glue - you can get this at any department or craft store.
  • Scissors
  • An old magazine, sticker, advertisement, fabric...whatever you want your ring to look like.
  • Paintbrush
Once you have gathered your supplies, we can get started.
