Last Saturday, I was at the bi-annual Street Fair in Yellow Springs, Ohio. This little college town has a robust downtown community of mom & pop shopkeepers and independent artisans. Consignment shops line the streets of Yellow Springs, so it is a no-brainer that there would be a lot of DIY phantasmagoria going on at this particular event.
My list of must-haves at the street fair included candy-wrapper bracelets, plush sushi, owl skirts and romance novel suitcases. the best part? They do it all again in October!
