"Man, I miss sewing. I designed the pattern for the dress from scratch as well. The electrical engineering department at my undergrad university (where I majored in computer science) donated the dead microchips, and I got the resistors at Radio Shack. Have only worn it once (on Halloween).
Note that the cool-looking mesh thingy is the dress form and not part of the dress."
