Wendy of Artistically Stitched has been sewing full time for 8 yrs now. She has always been pulled in by art of many forms, art runs in her blood & she wouldn't feel whole without it in her life. Wendy got into art the day she could hold a crayon, she would color & draw for hours everyday. In high school her focus went to graphic arts & commercial art. From there she attended Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, OH for 2 years. She then moved to VA & took 3 more yrs of art classes at various colleges before moving to FL where she lives & works now as an artist & mama of 2.
Wendy loves to sew with all sorts of materials but within the last 4 yrs her main focus has been hemp fabrics. She also works with other eco friendly materials such as bamboo, PET (recycled soda bottles), and organic cottons. Her work is ever evolving & with the state of the world today she is proud that her work incorporates the eco friendly vibe.
