DIY Fashion Toolbox Essentials

While a full array of pins and needles would be nice, most DIY projects do not require lots of complicated sewing tools. Small sewing kits that can be found at your grocery or department store will be just fine. These are handy to keep at work or in the car, in case you need to do some mending on the go!

A sewing kit will usually include a small amount of thread, a needle, a threader, a few buttons, snaps, and a few straight pins. You can find more equipped sewing kits that offer more supplies, but even the smallest souvenir sewing kit will work.
