At the 2007 Yellow Springs Street Fair in Yellow Springs, Ohio, I had the pleasure of seeing the work of Vicki Toriello-Farmer. Her booth was filled with her creations that successfully blended 'I am woman, hear me roar!' with images of 50's housewives and super heroines.
Not only is her decoupage work of note, but her choices of canvas are impressive as well. Working on journals, wooden jewelry boxes and vintage suitcases, the decoupage design always ties in well with the surface it is applied to.
