Make a Laptop Case from a Placemat

You can make your own laptop bag with just a couple of thick placemats and a little bit of easy sewing.

What You'll Need
• Two thick placemats, at least 2" wider and 3" taller than your laptop. If you can not find good, thick placemats, try sandwiching and sewing a few together. The placemats I am using in this tutorial have two layers of fabric.
• A zipper as long at the top of your placemat.
• Sewing kit or machine
• Measuring tape
• A necktie or cloth belt to use as a strap.
