- In step four, when pinching your clay, try not to cover much of the top of the bead. Leaving more of the glass visible will show more of the picture inside.
- Keep a damp towel handy. The residue on your hands from darker colors can ruin the lighter colored clay. Wipe your hands in between clay colors, and mold lighter colors first.
- Polymer clay comes in many colors and can be easily mixed. You can create marbled or swirled looks with two or more colors. You can also use white polymer for your beads, and paint with acrylics once it’s done baking. Be sure to paint the beads before threading them onto the elastic.
- Use other beads on your bracelet, putting them in between your picture frame beads.
- Experiment with making different shapes of beads such as squares, hearts and triangles.
