If you are going to completely cover your surface, or even to add paper to a singular design, then you will be adding glue to parts of your case before you intend to seal the whole thing.

The rule here is to seal the layer underneath with a brush of glue before you apply the next layer. Make sure you are brushing on a thin layer of glue, and be careful to avoid globs. Let this layer dry completely.

Apply another thin layer of glue and smooth on your next layer. Let the glue underneath dry completely before you seal your work.
