Cut locks of hair that are at least an inch longer than your bead outline. A long beard should have locks of hair that are much longer than the outline, but at least an inch longer than you want the finished product to be.

In this case, I wanted to also do a Magnum P.I. from the mustache template, so I cut long pieces of hair to lay over both the mustache and the goatee. Snip the hair in small bunches so that it is easier to handle.

If you want to get out some childhood angst while chopping her hair, that's up to you. Next, we will coat the baggie in rubber cement.
