I wanted to put this photo up not only because it shows what you can do with a body stocking and a pair of old lady underpants, but also because we can see how hot full-coverage can be. Here, Gaga is in a mask, headdress, large underpants, and a skin-colored bodysuit with long sleeves and leggings tucked into gloves and boots respectively. The lace and leather are working overtime here to create a sexy look, while in reality, her body is covered.
- The Hair: Score a two-tone blond wig. Or, gather the longer strands along the back of a light blond wig and make them a brighter yellow by using a spray-in temporary dye.
- The Mask: Paper mache a black bandit mask (Paper Mache Mask Tutorial), Then layer black feathers onto it. A glue gun works we for holding feathers in place. It looks like she's got some dangling beads or faux flowers, so get creative with a few staggered rows of strung beads or threaded petals.
- Headpiece: I'm going to say it. Use a trash bag. Turn a trash bag upside-down. Gather it in the middle and fan out the bottom. Clip it to as tall as you want it, then hot glue it to the back of the mask. If you want more control, first tape craft wire along the inside bottom of the trash bag. Then you can mold waves along the top of your headpiece.
- The Outfit: Find a lacy body stocking (Compare Prices) and a pair of large, black panties. Even if these items aren't exact replicas, pairing them will work to capture this look. Wear a white or skin-colored leotard underneath. For shoulder pads like Gaga's, paper mache (How to Paper Mache) a pair of triangular shoulder pads and stuff them into place through the neck of the body stocking once you've got it on.
- Accessories: Wear any pair of short black boots and black leather gloves. Lots of shine on the boots and gloves will help offset them from the black lace.
