Ravenclaw house colors are debatable, due to differences between the books and movies. The traditional book colors for Ravenclaw are bronze and dark blue. In the movies, however, the bronze is replaced with light blue.

Ravenclaw Scarf
Make a Ravenclaw scarf by crocheting, knitting or felting. Note that the knit scarf pattern has thick blocks of color.

Ravenclaw Tie
Start out with a dark blue tie. Use light blue or bronze fabric paint to add the lines on the tie. If you're using paint and a brush, employ a ruler to help you make straight lines. A fabric pen works much easier in this case, and most fabric stores have them in many colors.

Make two thick lines, then skip an inch and make a very thin line. Skip another inch and repeat this pattern.

The Hair
Luna sports a head of platinum blond hair. If you don't have the right hair color, you'll need to spring for a cheap wig or even bleach your hair. If you have especially dark hair then it's going to be very difficult to get such a white-yellow color with any kind of hair dye. I suggest spending the ten bucks on a wig instead, because bleach can be very hard on your hair.

Luna's hair is always a little messy. Rub a dot of gel on your fingers and run them through your hair to give it more texture.

The Wand
Any thin stick can be made into a wand. Peel off any bark and use a piece of sandpaper to smooth down the sides of the stick. For a pointed end, use a small knife to whittle the end of the stick. Shaving the end of the stick should be done with adult supervision. Apply a dark or light wood varnish to your smoothed wand.

The Clothes
Luna has a unique sense of style, to say the least. She wears Spectrespecs on occasion, as well as big peyote radish earrings.

For Luna's uniform: A white button-down shirt, black or gray sweater vest to wear over it. Wear a black pencil skirt, knee-high socks and black dress shoes.
