Who says pumpkins can't be glamorous? Well, that's an odd thing to say, anyhow.
My first Halloween Orglamix eye look is straight out of the pumpkin patch. A glimmering, magical pumpkin patch, that is. Not the kind where you wait all night for The Great Pumpkin only to be met by crushing disappointment. More like the kind you're next to when the Fairy Godmother creates a sweet ride out of squash.
For this look, I'm using only Orglamix shadows in Absinthe, Mandarin, and Black Magic.
I applied Mandarin dry to the entire lid and brow area, and then brushed on dry Absinthe at the outside edge. I blended the Absinthe all the way out toward the hair line.
One great feature of loose powder eyeshadow is that you can apply it wet or dry. I used a wet brush on the Black Magic powder to line the top lid.
Then I dabbed a wet paintbrush into Absinthe, added a highlight above the Black Magic lid liner and created twists to hint at the curling vines of the pumpkin patch. To finish, I outlined these vines again in wet Black Magic.
My Bibbidy Bobbidy look for eyes that can prevent a pumpkin costume from simply making you look round. It's also a good choice for the day you head out to pick pumpkins or for a pumpkin carving party. What do you think? Let me know what you would do with this look, and visit Orglamix.com to check out more eye shadow styles.
Tomorrow, we'll get our Goblin Glimmer on with these same Orglamix Halloween colors... a great look for terrorizing your town as a little green monster.
