Cute Costumes for Women

Okay, so in our 2012 Halloween Costume poll, I asked what kind of costume you're getting into this Halloween. Scary? Sexy? Nope. It was 'Cute' that won the day. So, by popular demand, here are some of my cutest costume tutorials.

Peacock Costume

My daughter was a peacock last Halloween, a creative choice that was sparked by a shimmering blue dress we uncovered at the thrift shop. For $3.00, you wouldn't think we'd need an excuse to buy it, but rationalizing our impulse buys is like a sport for us.

Fairy Costume

A fairy costume is easy. Wear a cute dress, pack some glitter, and make some wings with my easy tutorial. You can even turn an old prom dress into a fairy costume.

Flapper Costume

Flappers are flirty, but in a classy kind of way. This costume requires a slim dress, some pearls and tons a swagger. I've got a quick tutorial to putting together a nifty flapper costume that's just the cat's pajamas.
