It's hard to believe that color trends can change each and every summer. When I think summer, it's easy to conjure up varied blue of the ocean. I see a girly cocktail with crackling white ice cubes bobbing in the sun. There's the sand between my toes, lush summer gardens and maybe even the burning red of my singed Irish skin.
White the whites and bright sea blues make their yearly appearance in the summer, there are some trendy peripheral hues that compliment our usual idea of summer. These colors can even take over as hot makeup and fashion trends.
In 2012, we are seeing the hot poppy and melons of spring carrying right over into summer. Mint will gain momentum, and brilliant yellows and limes are going to edge in to prominent summer color positions.
