Tip from Bob Crowley: Tie a Survivor Buff Like a Bow Tie
Not only did Bob Crowley win this season's Survivor, he was also the first contestant to tie an official Survivor buff like a bow tie. You too can learn to tie a bow tie with a handkerchief, but I can't help you with that fake immunity idol craft.
To tie a handkerchief like a bow tie, first you'll need to twist the handkerchief into a short rope. This way, it's a long thin gathering of fabric instead of a flat square. Lay your twist along the back of your neck and tie the two ends into a bow, like on a present. As Runaround Bob said in this interview, "It’s frustrated a lot of people because they think I’m tying it like a bow tie. You can’t tie a buff like a bow tie. It took me about two weeks to get it right."
