Those Last Minute Costumes

Thursday October 23, 2008
playboy costume Well, you've waited this long...now there's a costume party this weekend and you don't have anything to wear. Yeah, I'm talkin' to you. Well don't lose hope because you have a few options with home made costumes, and those costumes that can be bought for a discount online. I have been scouring my local costume shops, and they are so far not budging on the price and running out of stock on popular items.

With a few home made costumes, everything you need can be made at home. While I would love for you to DIY the whole thing, sometimes you need those perfect accessories to add the finishing touch. This is especially the case with the more sexy adult costumes, which can involve a lot of lace, satin, and other materials that can be hard to work with.

BuyCostumes.com is currently having a sale on pirate accessories. This includes pistols, hooks and knives to complete your home made pirate costume. The pirate hook only costs a couple of bucks, compared to $9.00 at my local costume shop. Don't worry, I'll have a DIY tutorial on that accessory before next Halloween, but until then, you should get a deal. Now get your costume together before it's too late!
